Laurel Foot Levelers

Heel pain while walkingYour feet are the foundation of your body, so you want them to be well supported. With Foot Levelers custom orthotics at Optimal Care Chiropractic, you can get the outstanding support you need.

What to Expect

As a Foot Levelers Certified Provider, we scan the feet of all new patients except for three groups: pregnant women, persons with a pacemaker and those under the age of 7.

Based on your chiropractic evaluation and our treatment goals, we will recommend stabilizers. We always want people to have a combination pair. Along with the pelvic stabilizers, we may also recommend the following:

  • A cervical pillow
  • A lumbar pillow
  • A topical analgesic
  • A roller massager
  • An exercise ban
  • A wrist, ankle or elbow brace
  • A 24-hour period of rest and relaxation to help your body heal also will be recommended.

Every six months, we rescan patients who have stabilizers.

FAQ

How do Foot Levelers custom-made functional orthotics work?

Because feet represent the foundation of the body, any foot imbalance or dysfunction can have ripple effects. You may experience imbalance and pain in the ankles, legs, knees, hips, spine, shoulders and the skull.

One of the greatest benefits of Foot Levelers orthotics is they are custom-created to balance and support your feet and body. They can hold up to the demands of your lifestyle and daily activities. By balancing and supporting your feet, Foot Levelers can help balance and support your spine. As a result, any pain you have can be alleviated. Your body’s overall biomechanics can improve as well.

Foot Levelers custom orthotics are a research-demonstrated solution for many issues:

  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Low back pain
  • Bunions
  • Heel spurs
  • Ankle sprains/ankle instability
  • Knee pain
  • Other musculoskeletal conditions

Why should I get custom orthotics?

Simple: an improvement in quality of life. Whether you are young, old, an athletic person or not, orthotics can help improve pain, posture, balance and physical performance in every area of life. They help prevent or treat low back pain, hip pain, knee pain and neck pain.

Why should I not use over-the-counter-orthotics?

While over-the-counter orthotics are inexpensive and provide initial comfort, they are not necessarily beneficial or lasting. When it comes to your health, we believe that it is important to wear custom-made orthotics. Foot Levelers fabricates custom-made orthotics based on scans produced by a high-tech 3D scanner with laser accuracy to protect your foundation.

I have flat feet. What are the best orthotics?

Because our orthotics are custom created by a team of highly skilled technicians just for you, any model of Foot Levelers orthotics can help address flat feet. Dr. Levi can help you select the right Foot Levelers model based on your particular activities, lifestyle, health issues and wellness goals. Foot Levelers’ custom orthotics are backed by over 60 years of experience and robust peer-review research, as well as a 100% money-back guarantee.

Does insurance cover orthotics?

In most cases, insurance will cover stabilizers such as custom orthotics. If your plan does not include Durable Medical Equipment (DME) coverage, we can provide orthotics at a discounted rate.
